Justice, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

Our Commitment to People and Planet

At The Fendale Group, we don’t just fill roles; we build a community that reflects the world we live in. As we work toward our B Corp certification, we are committed to the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance. For us, Justice, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion aren’t just HR initiatives, they are the fuel for our innovation and the backbone of our culture.

Why Your Voice Matters Here

We believe that systemic change starts with who we hire and how we support them. We are actively seeking candidates who bring "culture add" rather than just "culture fit." We value the unique perspectives that stem from different backgrounds, including:

  • Race and Ethnicity: We strive for a workforce that reflects the global communities we serve.

  • Gender Identity & Expression: We provide an environment where you can be your authentic self.

  • Neurodiversity & Ability: We provide the tools and flexibility needed for every mind to thrive.

  • Life Experience: Whether you’re a veteran, a parent returning to the workforce, or have an unconventional career path, your journey is an asset.

Justice in Practice: Our Accountability Framework

Being B Corp aligned means we are legally committed to considering the impact of our decisions on our workers, customers, suppliers, community, and the environment. When you join Fendale, you’re joining a company that views Equity as a constant practice, not a destination.

Our Promise: We are committed to pay equity, inclusive benefits, and transparent paths for advancement. If you need any specific accommodations during the interview process, please let us know, we want to ensure you have what you need to shine.

Moving beyond Equity as a constant practice, Justice for The Fendale Group means a commitment to formal accountability, systemic fairness, and remediation. It is the active protection of rights for every individual, both within our operations and throughout our partnerships. Our Non-Negotiable Standards (Justice)

Our commitments are guided by internationally recognised human rights principles, including the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and the International Labour Organisation’s Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work.

  • Zero Tolerance for Exploitation: We maintain a zero-tolerance approach to human rights violations, including child labour, forced labour, modern slavery, and human trafficking, throughout our entire business and supply chain.

  • Ethical Sourcing: As a food-led business, we actively work with and prioritise suppliers who demonstrate ethical employment practices, fairness, and transparency.

A Protected Voice (Accountability)

We are committed to providing clear, safe channels for all stakeholders to speak up without fear of reprisal.

  • Internal Grievance Framework: Our Complaints Policy provides a formal, transparent framework for investigating and resolving material claims regarding our business operations, human rights, and professional standards.

  • Whistleblowing Protection: We actively encourage staff to use our Whistleblowing Policy to report suspected wrongdoing, fraud, or danger, guaranteeing confidentiality and protection from retaliation for those who raise genuine concerns. We also create regular opportunities for employees to share their experiences and perspectives through feedback channels, which is reviewed by senior leadership.
